Proposal architecture
Concept structure, work-package logic, deliverables, milestones, KPIs and links between technical objectives, pilots and exploitation.
Support for technical R&D projects where sustainability, digitalisation, energy flexibility, BIM/data structures and AI-supported decision tools must be translated into credible work packages, pilots, deliverables and exploitable results.
Concept structure, work-package logic, deliverables, milestones, KPIs and links between technical objectives, pilots and exploitation.
Drafting and refining technical narratives on BIM, data structures, sustainability, carbon footprint, energy flexibility, digital twins and decision support.
Translation of project outputs into guidance, tools, training, stakeholder pathways, service concepts and reusable methods.
R&D work around construction and demolition waste, circular construction workflows, material-flow modelling and digital structures supporting reuse, recycling, recovery and future waste prediction.
Energy-chain optimisation for research infrastructures, including renewable-energy assessment, BESS and resilience planning, operational flexibility concepts and decision-support tooling.
RI-SPOND is a proposal for integrating sustainability into research infrastructures through digitalisation and operational flexibility. The consortium involves ELI ERIC as coordinator and pilot, CERN, CNRS, EMFL, HFML-FELIX, HZDR, Oxford, University of Manchester, IBM, Energy Pool, ELI ALPS, POLPUR and other partners. The project scope combines RI-specific sustainability methods such as ORLCA, AESA and Scope 3 structures with scientific instrumentation, energy flexibility, Data Lakehouse, federated AI, digital twins and prescriptive maintenance.
