The WASTEie-oriented approach links BIM objects with material identity, quantities, end-of-life scenarios and data suitable for future inventory and recovery planning.
Carbon and lifecycle perspective
Circularity is not only about waste. It also includes embodied carbon, whole life carbon and the comparison of decisions over the full life cycle of the asset.
Decision support
The aim is to help public owners and designers identify better material choices, lower-carbon pathways and clearer information for future demolition, reuse or recycling.
